El contexto mundano de hoy es un lugar y un tiempo en el que lo que tenemos que hacer parece más importante que nuestra capacidad y nuestro compromiso. El futuro de la Congregación de la Misión siempre ha estado en manos de la providencia amorosa de Dios. Entrar en el quinto centenario de la Congregación de la Misión es una oportunidad para intuir hacia dónde llevará el Espíritu a la humanidad, a la Iglesia, a la Familia Vicenciana y a nuestra Congregación. En este espacio de discernimiento vital, la Congregación de la Misión y su carisma no han llegado a su fin. Nuestra creatividad no está agotada, pero debemos renovar las formas de vivir nuestro carisma. Hoy debemos dar a luz estas ideas. Nuestra confianza se basa en el conocimiento común expresado en nuestras constituciones. Nuestras constituciones se interesan por la persona de Jesús, y la centralidad del Reino fue el motor de su existencia terrena. La Revitalización y el futuro de la Congregación no es un Escape del "festival de incertidumbres" de la historia. Con Jesús, tenemos que caminar en la certeza de su divina providencia.
