En su artículo «La virtud de lo perfecto: La paciencia en la vida, los escritos y las conferencias de San Vicente de Paúl», Robert Maloney, C.M., explora la lucha personal de San Vicente con la paciencia, a la que denomina “virtud de lo perfecto”.
