La quinceañera: interculturalidad y discernimiento pastoral

La creciente presencia de familias migrantes en las parroquias plantea importantes interrogantes pastorales, especialmente en relación con las prácticas culturales y religiosas propias de sus países de origen. ¿Constituyen estas tradiciones, ya sean religiosas o culturales, un obstáculo para la integración eclesial o pueden convertirse, por el contrario, en un factor que la favorezca? Prácticas como la quinceañera son percibidas por muchos agentes pastorales principalmente como celebraciones sociales, centradas más en la fiesta que en la fe, lo que en ocasiones representa un desafío pastoral. Este artículo propone una interpretación teológico-pastoral que comprende la quinceañera, junto con otras expresiones paralitúrgicas características de la religiosidad hispana, como una oportunidad privilegiada para la inculturación del Evangelio. Desde esta perspectiva, estas celebraciones pueden actuar como catalizadores de nuevas formas de vida eclesial, capaces de fortalecer la comunión intercultural y hacer visible el carácter plural y universal del Reino de Dios.
